Laboratory of Agricutlural Economy and Agricultural Policy


The laboratory offers educational and research service in the subjects of Agricultural economics and Agricultural Policy. Specifically, the mission of the laboratory includes:
  • Covering of educational and research needs in undergraduate and graduate levels at the department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises of the University of Patras in the subjects: Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Policy, Accounting, Investment Appreciation, Agricultural Cooperatives, etc.
  • Collaboration with other research centers and academic institutions of the country or abroad.
  • Organization of seminars, conferences, symposiums, lectures, postgraduate courses and the realization of publications and editions.
  • Social needs services when its contribution to topics that are dealt in the laboratory is requested.
  • Rendering of services according to what is expected in the article 159/1984 (A 53).

Infrastructure

The equipment of the laboratory include: 25 computers with their equipment, 1 server for the networking of the above appliances. 1 multi-machine (Fax, telephone, photocopier), 1 printer. Statistical and Financial Analysis software.
