The library of the Department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises is co- housed with the equivalent library of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Management in an area of 167 square metres and adequately covers the educational and research needs.

It is mainly lending, where the reading room available is relatively small (12 seats). It also has five PCs for users with Internet access, photocopier and it offers the possibility to borrow materials through the National Documentation Centre (EKT) by being a member of it.

The collection includes 10,040 volumes of books , both Greek and foreign, relative to almost all sciences , 48 current journal subscriptions in printed or electronic form , about 250 CD-ROMs and disks , as well as some videotapes, photographs and maps. Also, in the library, a number of dissertations by undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students are available. The bulk of the material can be borrowed with the exception of material such as magazines, dictionaries, reference books, electronic materials, dissertations and doctoral theses.

This material is organized according to the computer system ABEKT 4 while its conversion into the on-line program HORRISON is upon completion.

The Library is open on a daily basis and for the current year it is open for users both in the morning and in the afternoon from Monday to Thursday (from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and on Friday morning (from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).
