Nourishment

Students' Nourishment is made in the University Club (address: Ch. Trikoupi street) which is near the University Campus.
Student Card for Discounts
Students are offered a discount when using air, sea, rail road transportation traveling in land. The discount is offered during the whole academic year on production of the student card for discounts offered by the person responsible for student welfare. The provision of the discounted ticket terminates when the person entitled to it join the army, suspends his/her studies, graduates or loses his/her student status for any reason. Students who are enrolled for a second degree are not entitled to possess a student card for discounts. Students who are considered to be entitled to possess a rent allowance ought to hand in the following requirements to the person responsible for student welfare.
The student Card for Discounts is personal. The holder ought to keep it in a good condition. In case of loss, theft or damage, the person responsible for student welfare should be informed immediately so that a new student Card for Discounts can be issued.
The offered discounts are: 25% in public transportation in the town where the school resides and the students lives, 25% in public transportation in the rest of the country. 25% in long-distance transportation linking the school’s chair where the students studies to the town of his/her permanent residence, 25% to long-distance transportation in the rest of the country. 25% in rail transportation all over the country. The requirements that should be submitted are:
  1. Photograph (student’s name should be written at the back of the photograph)
  2. For the academic year 2007-2008, the cost of the student card for discounts is 2.50 euros, which is paid to the person responsible for student welfare.

Health Care

The students of the department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises have the right to be offered full health care for the maximum period of six years after the date of their first registration. In case of suspension of their studies, the right to be offered health is also extended.

The department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises provide every student with a Medical Service Record which is renewed annually for as long as the student is covered by the student Welfare.
The Medical Services Record includes the student’s name and surname, the student's photograph, the student's identity card number, the University, the school and the department he/she studies. The Medical Services record is personal.
Students' Nursing belongs to B position which is measured based on the invoice which stands every time for public servants.
Students are invited to read carefully the rules of Medical care referring analytically to the conditions and presuppositions of Medical and Hospital Nursing of the Students included in the Medical Services Record.
Students who need medical care can visit doctors who have contracts with the Department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises in order to be examined by just showing their Medical Services record. The same procedure applies to dentists. Necessary requirements for the provision of the Medical Services Record are:

  • Affirmation statement of the article 1599/86 declaring that they haven’t got any other health insurance.
  • Photograph (the student’s name should be written at the back part of the photograph).
