Educational Aims

This course deals with the functioning of markets and industries, and in particular with the way in which companies compete with one another. The course examines issues of price competition, product placement, advertising, research and development etc. With the successful completion of the course the students will be able to understand market structure and competition between firms in the market.

Student Evaluation

Written final exam (100%) including:

  • Multiple choice questions
  • Solving problems related to the teaching subject
  • Comparative evaluation of theoretical issues
