Call for Papers 14th Special Conference of the Hellenic Research Society 11th Meeting of Multicriteria Decision Analysis Topic: “Agricultural Development and Rural Economy using Multicriteria Decision Analysis” The 11th Meeting of Multicriteria Decision Analysis, to be held in Agrinio from the 12st to the 14th of March 2015 at the Chamber of Aitoloakarnania (Papastratou 53 & Smirnis, P.C. 30100 Agrinio), is a continuation of the respective meetings over the last years. The great success of these meetings is a clear indication of intense research activity developed by the Greek researchers in the field of multicriteria analysis. The 11th Meeting is organized by the Department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises (University of Patras) and the Hellenic Operational Research Society and its foremost goal is the presentation of new research results in this area by Greek researchers. The meeting will also offer the participants an opportunity to accept insights and proposals for improving their work by experts of this scientific discipline, to learn about the latest trends and methodological developments in the field of Multicriteria Decision Analysis and discuss issues related to practical applications to businesses and organizations. The main topics of the meeting include, but are not limited to: – Multicriteria utility theory – Outranking methods theory – Aggregation – disaggregation approaches – Multicriteria mathematical programming – Goal programming – Preference modeling – Multicriteria decision support systems – Multicriteria approaches to group decision making – Robustness analysis – Sensitivity analysis – Practical applications of multicriteria theory – Fuzzy multicriteria theory – Behavioral issues in decision making – Teaching of multicriteria theory At the same time, the topics of the meeting include applications of multicriteria analysis in real problems decision making and real case studies. Application fields include the following: – Management of production systems – Human Resource Management – Business Administration – Management of natural resources, energy and environment – Sustainable development – Rural and regional development – Education – Supply chain management – E-commerce – Marketing – Transportation – Shipping – Defense – Tourism – Healthcare management – Financial engineering In addition any “single criterion optimization” contribution will be more than welcome. Paper Submission Researchers interested in attending the meeting are invited to submit their work electronically to: eeee.deapt@gmail.com. The abstract submission deadline is February 10, 2015. The abstract should be written in English using MS-Word (in .doc or. docx format). The abstract should include the following information: title, names of authors and full affiliation details (including postal and email address), A brief description (at most 600 words) of the objectives of the research, the methodological procedures used, as well as the most important results. The authors are kindly requested to follow the conference template. Paper Publication Full papers and abstracts submitted will be published after a peer review process in the meeting proceedings.
